Come From Away: A New Musical

Itinerary Pricing & Booking

We will depart from the historic Fitger’s Inn with parking available at Fitger’s parking ramp off Superior Street, additional parking fees may apply, and load our temperature-controlled deluxe motor coach with onboard restrooms. Prior to the musical, we will make a “mystery” stop for a catered lunch that will perfectly fit the theme of this Tony award-winning musical.

After lunch we will head to the historic Orpheum Theatre in downtown Minneapolis, MN for Come From Away: A New Musical, based on the true story of when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland played host to the world. What started as an average day in a small town turned into an international sleep-over when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from across the globe, were diverted to Gander’s airstrip on September 11, 2001. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered the stranded travelers with music, an open bar, and the recognition that we’re all part of a global family.

After the show, we will board the motor coach for our trip back to the northland, with an onboard complimentary light snack.
