Come From Away: A New Musical

Your temperature-controlled deluxe motor coach with onboard restrooms will depart from Hibbing, MN with convenient pickup locations in Chisholm, Virginia, and Eveleth. Prior to the musical, we will make a “mystery” stop for a catered lunch that will perfectly fit the theme of this Tony award-winning musical.

After lunch we will head to the historic Orpheum Theatre in downtown Minneapolis, MN for Come From Away: A New Musical, based on the true story of when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland played host to the world. What started as an average day in a small town turned into an international sleep-over when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from across the globe, were diverted to Gander’s airstrip on September 11, 2001. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered the stranded travelers with music, an open bar, and the recognition that we’re all part of a global family.

After the show, we will board the motor coach for our trip back to the northland, with an onboard complimentary light snack.

Leave the driving to us. Feel free to bring a small carry-on bag. A complimentary onboard snack and beverage will be provided by JayBee Travel during your trip home.
