Saturday, September 27th – Travel to Boston

(Dinner)

Depart from Minneapolis Airport and arrive at Boston Logan Airport.
Welcome to New England! Meet your private, luxury motorcoach and guide at Logan Airport for an afternoon tour of Boston highlights.
Your ride along the Freedom Trail will take you to several world-famous sites, including a photo stop at the USS Constitution, the US Navy’s oldest commissioned ship.

A walk through the North End will introduce you to one of Boston’s oldest and most historic neighborhoods where you’ll see the Paul Revere House and the Old North Church where lanterns were hung to signal Paul Revere.

Faneuil Hall, the Old State House, Kings Chapel, Old Granary Burial Ground, site of the Boston Massacre, and Beacon Hill will all be highlighted as your guide relates the history, folklore and current events of Boston.

The Back Bay, the Boston Common and Public Gardens, “Cheers”, and upscale Newbury Street are covered en route.
Dinner included tonight at the Chart House.
You’ll be dining in John Hancock’s Original Counting House tonight. Built in 1763, this historic restaurant is located on Boston’s Long Wharf.
Check into the full-service Marriot Boston, Quincy, just south of Boston.

Sunday, September 28th — Nantucket

(Breakfast, Boxed Lunch, Lobster Dinner)

Enjoy an included breakfast at your hotel, before checking out.
Travel to the Hy-Line Docks where you meet your guide and board the ferry to the stunning island of Nantucket.
A boxed lunch will be included on the ferry.

Enjoy a guided tour of the breathtaking island of Nantucket as you are taken away from downtown to enjoy the natural beauty Nantucket has to offer. See the Old Mill, Sconset Village, Sankaty Head Lighthouse, and much more!
After, you have time for shopping and strolling.
Please remember to wear comfortable walking shoes for the cobblestone streets and brick sidewalks that line Nantucket’s downtown area.

An ideal Cape Cod oceanfront resort with exceptional service and an expansive stretch of private beach.
Enjoy an included Lobster Dinner to cap off this wonderful day.

Monday, September 29th

Start your day with an included breakfast at your resort, before meeting your local tour guide!
You will travel historic Route 6A, the Old King’s Highway.
We’ll have the chance to view a Windmill, a Cape Cod Lighthouse and visit the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor’s Center.
Sand dunes and the ocean surround you as you approach “Land’s End” – Provincetown.
You are now at the extreme tip of Cape Cod. Formerly known as the “Province Lands”, the pilgrims landed here first before they decided to settle across the Bay in Plymouth. Take some time to enjoy the wonderful variety of restaurants, shops, and galleries that make this artists/fishermen village so unique.
Enjoy a Dune Tour excursion!
You will ride along the shoreline of the protected lands of the Cape Cod National Seashore. Your driver/guide will point out the “dune shacks” where famous artists and writers became inspired to create their art.
Your dune driver will drop you off at The Pilgrim Monument and Museum.
This 255-foot tower dominates the town and is the tallest granite structure in the United States. It commemorates the first landing of the Pilgrims in 1620.
You will enjoy time for strolling the quaint village filled with shops, galleries, and cafes.
We will end the night with an included dinner.

Tuesday, September 30th — Hyannis, MA

(Dinner)

Breakfast is included this morning at your resort. Check out and depart the resort.
Your Local Guide will meet you at your resort for a day of touring!
Your guide will conduct a tour of the John F. Kennedy Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, Hyannis Port, and a view of St. Francis Xavier Church, the summer parish of the Kennedy Family.

Admission is included to the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum. The seas and shores of Hyannis Port inspired our 35th President like no other place on earth. It was here that he contemplated and accepted his run for office. Discover why he loved this place so, and how he spent his time on Cape Cod.
Free time for lunch on your own on Main Street, then travel to Maine.
Sebasco Harbor Resort - is one of New England’s classic style resorts – and you’re new home.
Situated on the rocky coast of Casco Bay, you’ll be surrounded by magnificent views of the harbor, islands and rolling hills. The resort features a wide variety of on-site activities including a candlepin bowling alley, saltwater pool, full-service spa, kayaking and biking and a fabulous oceanfront golf course. The hotel features a full-service restaurant, lounge, fitness and recreation center with sports equipment such as tennis rackets.
Dinner is included this evening at the resort.

Wednesday, October 1st — Boothbay Harbor, MA

(Breakfast, Lobster Dinner)

Breakfast included at the hotel.
Head to Picturesque Boothbay Harbor, the sailing capital of Maine.
Featuring brick sidewalks and a boardwalk along the waterfront wharfs lined with unique shops, eateries and galleries. You’ll find handcrafted goods, antiques and unique maritime and art galleries. Meet your guide for some touring.
Enjoy free time for shopping and lunch on your own.
This afternoon, you will board a large tour boat for a scenic cruise.
A scenic cruise of Boothbay Harbor Lighthouse and Islands. You’ll pass by beautiful vacation homes, lighthouses, small islands and see the seals on the ledges on this Cap’s Special fully narrated, two-hour cruise with both open and enclosed decks.
Return to hotel to relax and enjoy the resort.
Then, enjoy an authentic Downeast lobster bake!
You’ll feast on your choice of Maine boiled lobster or barbecued chicken, plus chowder (chow-dah), either steamed mussels or clams depending on availability and season, corn on cob, Maine potato, Maine blueberry cake.

Thursday, October 2nd — Kennebunkport

Start the day with an included breakfast at the hotel, before packing and checking out.
Meet your local guide for a narrated tour of Kennebunkport!
Drive past the sandy beaches and rocky coastline, past the George Bush estate at Walker’s Point, hear the history of these shipbuilding towns and the legend of the Wedding Cake House. You’ll also visit the seaside Franciscan Monastery with its beautiful landscaping, outdoor shrines, and chapel.
Enjoy free time in Kennebunkport’s Dock Square with many restaurants and quaint shops.
Travel to York and stop for photos at Nubble Light; Maine’s southernmost lighthouse in Cape Neddick.
This picturesque lighthouse sits on an island just offshore.
Enjoy a self-guided tour of Strawberry Banke Museum.
The museum brings more than 350 years of history alive, from Indigenous history to present day, in a historic waterfront neighborhood in Portsmouth.
Then enjoy free time for dinner on your own in the historic waterfront section of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Check into the Holiday Inn Portsmouth for the night.

Traveling to the airport is on your own, but we have compiled a few options for you, please contact us with any questions.

Option 1

Start your vacation relaxed and stay the night before and/or after at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Bloomington for a special rate of $129.00/night plus tax, paid at check-in. During your stay enjoy a complimentary breakfast, free parking at the hotel, and complimentary shuttle service to/from the airport. Meet your tour escort at the Terminal #1 ticket counter.

Let Jaybee Travel know if you would like this additional stay hotel option before the final payment, and JayBee Travel will make the appropriate reservations for you.

Option 2

Drive yourself to the MSP Terminal #1 on-site parking, approximately $23/day, and meet your tour escort at the ticket counter.

Drive yourself to the Park ‘N Go offsite airport parking in Bloomington, MN, for approximately $12.00 per day, and meet your tour escort at the ticket counter.

Basic insurance includes trip cancellation and interruption coverage, travel delay, medical and evacuation, baggage, and assistance services. Enhanced insurance includes all the above, plus cancellation due to pre-existing conditions. Exact insurance costs will be calculated based on your dates of travel, and cost of the trip.
