Thursday, October 12th | Boston

Roundtrip airfare from Minneapolis St. Paul International to Boston Logan
Welcome to New England! Meet your private, luxury motorcoach and guide at Logan Airport. Your guide will take you on an afternoon tour of Boston highlights.
Your ride along the Freedom Trail will take you to several world-famous sites, including photo stop at the USS Constitution, the US Navy’s oldest commissioned ship.

A walk through the North End will introduce you to one of Boston’s oldest and most historic neighborhoods where you’ll see the Paul Revere House and the Old North Church where lanterns were hung to signal Paul Revere.

Faneuil Hall, the Old State House, Kings Chapel, Old Granary Burial Ground, site of the Boston Massacre, and Beacon Hill will all be highlighted as your guide relates the history, folklore and current events of Boston.

The Back Bay, the Boston Common and Public Gardens, “Cheers”, and upscale Newbury Street are covered en route.
Your included dinner tonight will be at the Union Oyster House, the oldest restaurant in Boston and the oldest restaurant in continuous service in the US.
Check into the full-service Holiday Inn Dedham Hotel located just south of Boston.

Friday, October 13th | Nantucket

Enjoy an included breakfast at your hotel, before checking out.
Travel to the Hy-Line Docks where you meet your guide and board the ferry to the stunning island of Nantucket
Enjoy a guided tour of the breathtaking island of Nantucket as you are taken away from downtown to enjoy the natural beauty Nantucket has to offer. See the Old Mill, Sconset Village, Sankaty Head Lighthouse, and much more! A boxed lunch will be included on the ferry.
After, you have time for shopping and strolling
Please remember to wear comfortable walking shoes for the cobblestone streets and brick sidewalks that line Nantucket’s downtown area.
Check in time at the Red Jacket Beach Resort, an ideal Cape Cod oceanfront resort with exceptional service and an expansive stretch of private beach.
An included Lobster Dinner will cap off this wonderful day in Cape Cod. Alternate entrees will be available for those not wishing to eat shellfish.

Saturday, October 14th | Cape Cod

Start your day with an included breakfast at your resort, before meeting your local tour guide!
You will travel historic Route 6a, the Old King’s Highway, where you’ll have the chance to view a Windmill, a Cape Cod Lighthouse and visit the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor’s Center.
Sand dunes and the ocean surround you as you approach “Land’s End” – Provincetown.
You are now at the extreme tip of Cape Cod. Formerly known as the “Province Lands”, the pilgrims landed here first before they decided to settle across the Bay in Plymouth. Take some time to enjoy the wonderful variety of restaurants, shops, and galleries that make this artists/fishermen village so unique.
Enjoy a Dune Tour excursion!
You will ride along the shoreline of the protected lands of the Cape Cod National Seashore. Your driver/guide will point out the “dune shacks” where famous artists and writers became inspired to create their art.
Your dune driver will drop you off at The Pilgrim Monument and Museum.
This 255-foot tower dominates the town and is the tallest granite structure in the United States. It commemorates the first landing of the Pilgrims in 1620.
You will enjoy time for strolling the quaint village filled with shops, galleries, and cafes.
We will end the night with an included dinner (location TBA).

Sunday, October 15th | Plymouth, MA

Enjoy an included breakfast at your resort, before checking out and departing.
Meet your local guide and travel to America’s Hometown – Plymouth.
Home of our Pilgrim Fathers and one of the country’s first settlements, it is well known in the US for its historical value. A picture stop will be made at the Forefather’s Monument, the largest, solid granite monument in the nation. A picture stop will also be made at the Plymouth Rock, the traditional site of disembarkation of the Pilgrims in 1620. View the newly restored Mayflower II, a reproduction of the ship that brought the Pilgrims to the New World.
Free time for lunch on your own on the Plymouth waterfront before bidding farewell to your guide and making your way north to Maine, the “Pine Tree State”.
Stop at Maine’s southernmost lighthouse in Cape Neddick at Nubble Lighthouse for a photo and take in the picturesque view.
Your home tonight is Anchorage by the Sea Resort – oceanfront resort with stunning water view rooms.
Dinner is included this evening at a resort or nearby restaurant.

Monday, October 16th | Portland, ME

An included breakfast at the hotel will start your day.
Meet your local guide for a narrated tour of Portland, Maine’s largest city-by-the-sea.
Your tour includes a stop at Portland Head Lighthouse. This historic landmark is the most photographed lighthouse in America, set in Fort Williams Park with crashing surf, a beach, and an old fort.
Enjoy free time for lunch on own and shopping in Portland’s Old Port district, an historic area filled with quaint shops and cafes.
After, enjoy a narrated Portland Harbor cruise.
Pass through the Calendar Islands of Casco Bay and past several lighthouses. You’re likely to spot a harbor seal as well as you hear the maritime history of Maine’s largest seaport.
Enjoy an included authentic down east Lobster Bake for dinner!

Tuesday, October 17th | Kennebunkport

Start the day with an included breakfast at the hotel, before packing and checking out.
Meet your local guide for a narrated tour of Kennebunkport!
Drive past the sandy beaches and rocky coastline, past the George Bush estate at Walker’s Point, hear the history of these shipbuilding towns and the legend of the Wedding Cake House. You’ll also visit the seaside Franciscan Monastery with its beautiful landscaping, outdoor shrines, and chapel.
Enjoy free time in Kennebunkport’s Dock Square with many restaurants and quaint shops.
Make your way to Boston’s Logan Airport for your return flight home with your New England memories!

Basic insurance includes trip cancellation and interruption coverage, travel delay, medical and evacuation, baggage, and assistance services. Enhanced insurance includes all the above, plus cancellation due to pre-existing conditions. Exact insurance costs will be calculated based on your dates of travel, and cost of the trip.
