The Music Man

Well… you will not be traveling on a “Wells Fargo Wagon” or going to “Gary, Indiana” but will board a temperature-controlled deluxe motor coach with onboard restrooms that will depart from Hibbing, MN with convenient pickup locations in Chisholm, Virginia, Eveleth, and Cloquet. As “Seventy –Six Trombones” will perform (just kidding!) as we arrive at Perkins in Cloquet, MN for a warm cup of coffee and a delicious muffin. Plan to “Talk A Little” on the way to Chanhassen Dinner Theatre where we will arrive in time for lunch prior to the show.

The Music Man is a musical love story with twists and tunes. A charming but fraudulent salesman arrives in River City to work his usual scam – only to find that a bill of goods can be the real deal. With melodies that include the rousing “Seventy-Six Trombones,” this musical-comedy classic will delight the whole family. This is the last Regional Theatre allowed to perform this musical. Chanhassen Dinner Theatre received special permission to perform this musical before its official opening on Broadway in February 2022 at Winter Garden Theatre starring Hugh Jackman.

After the performance, you will bid “Good Night” to Chanhassen as we travel home with an intermediate stop along the way for dinner on your own.

Leave the driving to us. Feel free to bring a small carry-on bag. A complimentary onboard snack and beverage will be provided by JayBee Travel during your trip home.

4:30 PM - Return Departure
Once more board the deluxe motor coach for our return trip back to the northland with a complementary onboard snack
